SEO Analyzer

Check the on-page SEO of any URL: title, description, headings, indexing, links, images and social cards.

Check the SEO of any public page

See how it looks on Google and when shared, and what keeps it from ranking: indexing, headings, images, links and structured data.

Tooly's server downloads the page as a crawler would and keeps nothing; the analysis runs in your browser.

About the SEO Analyzer

See what search engines and chat apps find when they read a web page. Enter a URL and the analyzer fetches it the way a crawler does, together with its robots.txt and sitemap, and reviews more than twenty on-page signals: how the result looks in Google, how the link looks when shared, whether anything keeps the page out of the index, and how its headings, images, links and structured data are built. Each check says what to fix.

How to use the SEO Analyzer

  1. Enter the page URL

Type or paste the address of any public page; https:// is added if you leave it out. Each page is analyzed on its own, so check the pages you want to rank, not only the home page.

  2. Read the two previews

The Google preview shows the title and description as a search result, cut where Google usually cuts them. The link preview shows the card WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Facebook, Slack or X build when someone shares the URL.

  3. Fix errors first, then warnings

Errors (red) can keep the page out of Google or break how it looks; warnings (amber) are improvements. Use "Issues only" to hide what already passes, and analyze again after each change.

When to use it

Before publishing a page

Check the title, description, share image and headings of a new page or landing before launch, while they are still easy to change.

Finding why a page is not on Google

A noindex left over from staging, a robots.txt rule, an error status or a canonical pointing elsewhere are the usual reasons, and each one has its own check.

Fixing ugly link previews

When a shared link shows no picture or the wrong text, the Open Graph checks say which tag is missing or which image URL does not work.

Frequently asked questions

Does a high score mean my page will rank?

No. The score sums up the on-page checks on this page; it is not a Google metric. Rankings depend above all on how useful the content is for the search, on links from other sites and on the competition. Fixing these checks removes obstacles; it does not guarantee positions.

Why does it find no headings or text on a page that has them?

The analyzer reads the HTML the server sends, before any JavaScript runs. If the page builds its content in the browser (a single-page app without server rendering), that HTML is nearly empty. Google renders JavaScript later, but slower and not always: rendering on the server or prerendering is safer.

Why does the analysis say the site blocked it?

Some sites put bot protection (Cloudflare, Akamai and others) in front of every page and answer automated requests with a challenge instead of the content. The analyzer cannot pass it. If it is your site, allow requests from the ToolySEO user agent or test a page that is not protected.

Is the URL or the page stored?

No. Tooly's server downloads the page, its robots.txt and its sitemap to analyze them and keeps nothing; analytics record only whether the analysis worked, never the address. The analysis itself runs in your browser, and the preview images load straight from the site.

Why does Google show a different title from the preview?

Google sometimes rewrites titles and descriptions to match the search, especially when they are missing, too long or repeated across pages. The preview shows what the page asks for; a clear, unique title of up to about 60 characters is the one Google keeps most often.
